After the scenic drive from the Kathmandu Valley, passing through Pokhara, we reach Nayapul. The following day starts your official hike to the Annapurna Base Camp through Gurung villages towards Ghorepani and the nearby famous viewpoint Poon Hill. The viewpoint is famous for giving you the most panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Everest Base Camp Overview

How tall is Everest Base Camp compared to Annapurna Base Camp?

Since Everest is the world's highest peak, it is obvious that it is the tallest one. Actually, the Everest Base Camp Trek is 5364m, while the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is 4130m. If we subtract, that is about a 1234 difference in their altitude. That's a lot for the trekkers as the altitude gain is one of the challenges during the treks. Aside from that, there are other differences, too. 

Which is better, EBC or ABC?

Now, the question is quite conflicting as there is no clear choice between Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Base Camp, as both of them are known for their unique experiences.
