Bhutan, officially the Kingdom of Bhutan, is a small nation in South-East Asia bordering China to the north and India to the east and west. Thimpu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan.
A small country nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, it is often revered as "the Land of the Thunder Dragons". It is still regarded as one of the last Shangri-La because of its ancient and artistically rich Buddhist monasteries and remote mountain terrains. The other major sightseeing destinations are, Paro Taktsang, Rinpung Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang. Golden Langur (Monkey), Royal Bengal Tiger, Sloth bear, One-horned rhino, and Hispid hare are common animals found in the region.
